This lovely little camera is lightweight and waterproof. Has all the features you would expect on a camera now days, including blink detection and red eye reduction so you are covered bith ways. The 2.7" screen means composing the picture is easy. It has a 5x internal optical zoom so there is no lens to get knocked when you are playing on the beach. If you are on the beach or at the pool you will be safe taking pictures as long as you dont go deeper than ten feet. just remember to keep the seals clean.

 This is a lot of camera for a little money, if you want a bridge camera but on a budget, this is the one for you. 15x zoom with image stabilization for wildlife or the kids running around. It runs on AA batteries so you can get new ones just about anywhere, or get some rechargerable ones. it even has pancapture, which means you can take the whole scene simply by moving the camera.
